GENERAL INFORMATION

Fuller Theological Seminary / Graduate School of Psychology is an APA (American Psychological Association) Approved Sponsor to offer continuing education for psychologists. The School provides a wide range of continuing professional education opportunities for psychologists through direct delivery of programs.

As an APA Approved Sponsor, Fuller School of Psychology will not be reporting your units to the California Accrediting Agency under the California Board of Psychologists guidelines.  Instead, psychologists are required to self-report hours received from APA Sponsors to the Accrediting Agency so that they can be incorporated into a master educational record and reported to the Board of Psychology.

EVENT REVIEW PROCESS (In-House)

Fuller's School of Psychology operates under a privileged status with APA as an Approved Sponsor.  In regards to Continuing Education units, this means that Fuller is able to provide CE courses using an "in-house" course approval system.  Courses that Fuller may offer for CE credit must meet the APA standards.

Fuller SOP has adopted a set of guidelines to be used in determining if a course/seminar/workshop will be eligible to receive Fuller SOP Sponsorship approval.

The course/seminar/workshop to be offered must be approved by the Fuller CE committee.  The CE Approval Request Form should be submitted to the committee at least 20 days prior to the event.

Submissions may be made to: Marta Cenac-Mehedinti, sop-researchmgr@dept.fuller.edu.  The Dean of the School of Psychology reserves the right to refuse or accept any proposal.
