Rhee Joins Korean D.Min. Program at Fuller

Jung Suck Rhee has been named associate director and theological mentor of the Korean Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Rhee, who has spent years in parish ministry in the United States and South Korea, will also serve as associate professor of systematic theology and Korean ecclesiology.

"Dr. Rhee will enable our program to serve Fuller and the Korean church more effectively throughout the world," says Seyoon Kim, director of Fuller's Korean Doctor of Ministry program. "Rhee is a theologian who can make a significant contribution to Fuller."

Kim has directed the Korean Doctor of Ministry program since its founding at Fuller Seminary six years ago. Increasing by 100 students each year, the program has grown to a total of about 650 students.

Rhee will supervise two groups of dissertation advisors, one in the United States and one in Korea, as well as mentoring some students himself.

A minister in the Christian Reformed Church, Rhee earned his doctorate in theology at Free University in the Netherlands. He has taught systematic theology in South Korea at Kukje Theological Seminary, the Reformed Theological Seminary, and Chongshin University.

He is the author of Secularization and Sanctification, published by Free University Press in the Netherlands, and Christianity in the Secularized Age, published by Ire Book House in Seoul.
