RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY STAFF
Most of our residential communities have at least one Community Coordinator (CC) who lives in the community and partners with residents to create an active, caring residential community.
While working closely with the offices of Residential Facilities, Fuller Housing and Student Life & Services, ResCom staff support and advocate for their residents. They seek to foster within each of their communities a collaborative environment of knowing one another and caring for each other through:
- Creating opportunities for relationships between residents to develop;
- Encouraging community building and learning activities with resident participation;
- Orientating new residents to the community;
- Fostering cooperative ownership for maintaining the common areas within the community;
- Being an advocate and representative for both residents and the Housing office; and
- Providing conflict mediation and crisis response.
