SOT Faculty Application Procedure

To be considered an applicant for an open faculty position:

  1. Submit an Application for Faculty Appointment

    • On the Application form itself, choose a "Submission Method" at the bottom of the form
    • If selecting "Electronic," click "Submit by Email"
    • If selecting "Mail, fax, or in person," click "Print Form"
  2. Also, attach a current curriculum vitae to the above application.

    • If submitting by email, attach the vitae to the email message
    • If submitting another way, simply include the paper copy and also email it to sot-search@fuller.edu
  3. Finally, include any additional information requested by the faculty search committee. See the specific faculty position profile for more information.


Conditions

  1. All teaching and administrative positions, as a condition of employment and continuing employment, are restricted to persons who will affirm in writing the Statement of Faith of Fuller Theological Seminary.
  2. All employees (faculty, managers/administrators, and staff) are expected to adhere to the ethical standards affirmed in the Seminary’s Statements of Community Standards as a continuing condition of employment.
  3. New hire faculty applicants are subject to professional and personal reference checks. Before an offer of employment is extended to a faculty new hire, the candidate must also submit to and satisfactorily complete a background check review as a condition of employment. The appointment may be denied or rescinded based on a review of the background check.
  4. All offers of employment are conditioned on the provision of satisfactory proof of an applicant’s identity and legal authority to work in the United States.
