Fuller Africana Student Association

Fuller Theological Seminary has a thriving African American student population.  The students are close knit community that supports each other. Through weekly chapel and prayer services to routinely scheduled events, Fuller provides a welcoming and warm environment for African American Students.

The leading student organization for students of African descent at Fuller is the Fuller Africana Student Association.  The purpose of the Fuller Africana Student Association is:

  1. To provide workshops on scholarly and professional development – including writing abstracts, scholarly papers and presentations.
  2. To encourage student membership in both Academy of Religion and National Black Graduate Student Association and facilitate opportunities for conference attendance and participation.
  3. To partner  with African American Church Studies office, other campus offices and student organizations to foster spiritual growth, fellowship and dialogue, and facilitate academic success on Fuller’s campus.
